Recreational Activities

Recreational activities:.
- Special children do not know what to do in their free time & therefore they either wander aimlessly a get bored, irritated & provoke irritation at home.
- Thus, these creational activities give the children a chance to explore their various talents & use their endless energies.
- The main aim of the center is to engage the children in work or play that interest them & makes them more cooperative with society.

Pre- preparatory practices in sports, skating, yoga, self-defense.
Sports training of table tennis, handball & basket ball .
Dance training (western & classical) .
Drawing
Karate,and aerobics
All the activities & training program are in collaboration with AWMH (Association of Welfare of Mentally Handicapped).

ABOUT US

Vallabhdas Dagara Indian Society for the Mentally Challenged was established by Dr. A.V. Mehta, in 1973 with the purpose of training special children for the mainstream world, where they could become financially independent and live a dignified life.
