Vallabhdas Dagara Indian Society for the Mentally Challenged was established by Dr. A.V. Mehta, in 1973 with the purpose of training special children for the mainstream world, where they could become financially independent and live a dignified life. Our organization has a specialized curriculum that has been constructed keeping in view the unique needs of the special children. With highly dedicated staff, the child is provided care and education that is best suitable to his/her needs. Many students have benefitted from the Institute. VDIS is a shelter to the mentally challenged children against the hardships of life. We aim to nurture them into independent self reliant individuals who can lead their life with dignity and peace. We do not refuse admission based on the age of the child ,his economic status or background.
